So I just finished watching
the 10th-13th of New York's
Mercedes-Benz Fashion week.
&& today was the very last day of fashion week
..............Sad face......................
So here are some of the shows that have taken place
the last few days. I hope you guys enjoy.
Sept 10th Spring 2013 Line up:
Carolina Herrera- My favorite so far! Brilliant designs.
Very preppy chic, Sleek evening wear
as well as business wear. More of the lace look
and flowey dresses and skirts. Lighter colors and
bolder colors. Seeing more sheer. && those HEELS
OOHHH my .... I need some of those. Full show.
Carlos Miele- Main focus was evening attire. Tons && tons of bold colors,
animal prints, fringe, sheer, as well as silk. Love the embordiry.
And the elegance he portraed. Very pretty... Full show.
Farah Angsana- Oh my goodness. This women is a goddess at creating
the perfect dress. Loved this look for the coming spring.
Not only did she have the bright colors, but she also had the
neutral colors. And she mixed the lace, sheer, silk, and sequins
Joanna Mastroianni - Boldest of bold prints. Lots of silk. More colors
with the greens, blacks, & purples. I am not the biggest
fan of hers but some of her dresses were very breath taking.

Sept 11th Spring 2013 Line up:
Tory Burch - Love, love, love Tory Burch.Who doesn't,
her line has really picked up the last year && next years line
looks amazing of course. With a whole lot of preppy chic
lots of bright yellows and pink. There is going to be some fringe
and lace. And she is really going with some Moroccan pieces.
As well as statement patterns. And for the shoes, loafers seem
to be her main go to. check it out here.
J. Crew - Really BIG on color this coming Spring!!! Such bright beautiful colors.
Very bold prints, especially with the florals. Very young and flirty styles,
with a hint of geek chic mixed in. Loving it very daring with combining everything
but of course they can pull it off ..... See the designs in studio here.
Badgley Mischka- Very sophisticated look. Pant suits and dresses. As well
as a lot more sheer. Very elegant. Very pretty. Very glamorous

Vera Wang- Her main focus that I noticed was prints. Flower prints, lace prints
tribal prints, and even textured prints. And lots of Dark bolder colors
like forest greens, deep purples, royal blues,sunshine yellows and
gold. Very Pretty Vera is not usually my style for everyday wear.
I of course love her for bridal, but I could see myself wearing a few
of her designs. Full Show.
Jenny Packham- One word GLAMOROUS.

Naeem Khan- Lots of Prints. From Hawaiian to tribal and also floral. Lots of beading
which I love. Bright but settle colors. Very elegant evening wear.
He also went with the sheer look. I think that is really the main focus for
next year. Show highlights here.
Osklen- I personally didn't really like this show. They did however stick to there
beach background. And really stayed in the neutral color scheme.

Sept 12th Spring 2013 Line up:
Michael Kors- Oh Michael Kors. So much love I have for him.
He has really gotten so popular this past year.
And as he should. Love his line.
His spring line has so much color and has such a
sophisticated look. And those accessories you have
Rachel Zoe- LLLOOVING her Accessories from the belts, hats, purses, jewelry
so gorgeous. Very chic. Lots of pastels a couple bold colors in the mix.
Very Flowey dresses. Lots of layers. Very young and flirty.

J. Mendel- At first when the show started I thought OH NO, I am hating these designs
But as it progressed I defiantly saw somethings I really liked. Which
was a relief because I really do like his designs. He also focused on the
flowey sheer pastel dresses. With a couple of bold colors like the violet
Patterned mini dress I am lusting over. Full Show.
Milly by Michelle Smith- In love. That is all I have to say so young and flirty
and Bright. I have to own it ..

Sept. 12th Spring 2013 Line up:
Calvin Klein- Very simple. Very sophisticated business wear, and/ or
evening wear. I personally wasn't to impressed
kind of a boring show although I do like Calvin Klein.
He did bring back the bra styled dresses. As you can see
Here. Also he did a mens fashion line which you can see
that full show.
Ralph Lauren- Also had a show on the 12th but unfortunately
I could not find it, but what I could see from someone who posted
it on you tube from their phone. It looked like he brought
some Spanish styled evening wear back. Very sleek.
Lots of blacks, Reds, Whites. Didn't really care for this either.

Well Fashion week is officially
over I have to say my tops would have to be
Tadashi Shoji,Carolina Herrera,
Rebecca Minkoff, Charolette Ronson,
Lela Rose, J.crew, Tory Burch, && Milly by Michelle Smith
I am officially very excited for next springs looks.
Seems like there will be tons of Sheers.
&& COLORS so many colors. Patterns.
and lots of dresses with the little belts! And you can
not forget about the lace. Loving the styles. Very flirty
and chic. Now I didn't put all the shows and designers up.
